Scout framesets start at 4,990 EUR, full builds are priced from 6,990 EUR. Advanced options such as integrating dynamos and cables for lights as well as many other special customization challenges are possible and welcome. Possibilities range from the number/positioning of rivet nuts for bags and racks to the ideal top tube sloping angle to fit a TT bag. The frame can also be perfectly tailored to its user’s bike-packing needs and ambitions. The benefits from the optimal chain line and the single shifter set-up further contribute to the bike’s efficiency and ease of use.Īs with all Festka models, in addition to a range of standard sizes, Scout is available with custom geometry for a very moderate upcharge. Recent developments in components development enabled Festka to design Scout as the brand’s first frame specifically intended for one-by drivetrains. Efficiency can also translate into less effort and less fatigue.” Efficient transfer of energy from the rider to the frame and onwards means that your power doesn’t get wasted and you’ll need less effort to achieve your goal. Michael Moureček offers a glimpse into his thinking: “People tend to associate performance with speed but that’s not what it’s all about. The particular focus here was on making the bike highly responsive without it being twitchy. Performance is always high on Festka’s priority list and Scout is no exception. Scout feels very robust, yet it is light and nimble it is in its element climbing, descending and rolling on all hard fork surfaces. The frame is built from higher volume tubes engineered to provide the right balance of high modulus fibre and mechanical damage resistance. The new model’s geometry is designed around an extended wheelbase whose scope can be tweaked further using the adjustable trail provided by the Columbus Futura Cross fork. Scout picks up where the all-road Rover leaves off.” So much so that one bike cannot handle it all. Michael Moureček, the company’s co-founder and frame designer explains the thinking behind the new model: “The popularity of riding on gravel is growing and the ground covered by the discipline is expanding. If the rest of the team is as well trained and thorough as Diana, you won’t regret it and will be in great hands. Two years after launching the Rover, the brand’s first gravel model, Festka introduces Scout – a high-end, high-performance machine created with rougher terrains and extensive bike-packing in mind. Thank you again, Diana! To any new customer apprehensive about the company and it’s return/damage policies…. My experience has been great and I truly do look forward to submitting my next order. The matter was handled from the very first email I submitted with pictures.

Diana was happy to help, did not require me to jump through a lot of hoops and calls to submit and prove my issue. What would have been a huge inconvenience for me as a customer in an age where true customer service is not as regarded, turned out to be a breeze and very pleasant interaction. She is a darn good representation of the company. It was truly refreshing to see the amount of professionalism, follow through, and all around great service that she provided. Big thank you to Diana, the Customer Care Manager who handled my order. Either way, I am beyond impressed with the customer care and how the company handled this matter. Once unpacked, one chair had a demarcation from a sticker, and the other showed a structural demarcation of the frame slightly protruding either from a manufacturer defect or delivery damage. However, when delivered, I noticed one of the boxes was damaged but did not see any noticeable damage to the chair at the time. My chairs were delivered fairly quickly with the exception of some delivery miscommunications from their outsourced team. I am very happy to say the company did not disappoint despite issues with damage during delivery. To say the least, I was very apprehensive about the no return policy, but I researched the credibility of the company along with views before I finally decided to make my purchase. The Harley-Davidson Nightster starts at 13,499 while the most expensive Indian Scout model costs 13,249. Price is also a huge factor in choosing a bike, and once again the Scout wins this battle. I found your company when I set my eyes on a set of Bernhardt chairs I was shopping the best price and soonest availability for. There are seven different trims of the Scout for the 2023 model year, all coming with different styling and performance for any rider's needs. Check out what 432 people have written so far, and share your own experience. I am a first time customer of Scout & Nimble.
